Why construction debris gets sorted
Massachusetts bans several common building materials from regular disposal, including brick, concrete, asphalt pavement, metal, wood, and clean, unpainted drywall. Loads with those materials have to go to facilities that handle and recycle them.

Weight matters
Why heavy debris needs a heads-up
A dumpster full of drywall, tile, or concrete weighs far more than one full of carpet and cabinets, and dumpsters have weight limits. Going over can mean extra fees or a load that can’t be picked up safely.
Send photos and a rough idea of how much of each material there is. We’ll plan the loads so heavy materials are spread out or handled separately, and it’s all reflected in your free estimate before we start.

We’re a good fit when…
- The project is done and the debris is sitting in a pile
- It’s a DIY remodel and you don’t want to load a dumpster yourself
- Debris is mixed with old fixtures, furniture, and junk
You may not need us when…
- The project is ongoing, with new debris every day (rent a dumpster that stays on site)
- It’s mostly concrete or dirt (look for a dumpster sized for heavy materials)
- There’s asbestos or lead abatement involved (hire licensed specialists)

Can you take old drywall and plaster?
Yes. It’s heavy, so tell us roughly how many rooms it came from. Clean drywall scraps are handled separately from mixed debris where the rules require it.
What about concrete, brick, or tile?
In limited amounts. These are very heavy and dumpsters have weight limits, so send photos first. For a large amount, a dumpster sized for heavy materials may be the better choice.
Do you remove asbestos?
No. In Massachusetts, asbestos must be removed by licensed abatement contractors. If you’re working on an older home, get suspicious materials tested before demolition.
Do you haul for contractors?
We can take debris from small remodels and cleanup jobs. For a large project with debris every day, a dumpster rental that stays on site usually makes more sense.
Can you take the old tub, vanity, and toilet?
Yes. Bathroom and kitchen fixtures that are already disconnected are common pieces in a renovation cleanout.
